Hazelwood Green has been in the headlines and for good reason. Hellbender, a leader in manufacturing of physical AI, announced that it would bring 500 jobs to RIDC’s Mill 19 and the Roundhouse building over the next five years. Parallax is building a shared commercial SCIF, also in Mill 19. Carnegie Mellon University opened its new Robotics Innovation Center on the site and the University of Pittsburgh’s BioForge, including Elevate Bio, is close to completion.
