South Buffalo Township, PA—September 22nd—Regional Industrial Development Corporation of Southwestern Pennsylvania (RIDC) announced a partnership with Armstrong County Industrial Development Council to support the development of their Northpointe Industrial Park through joint marketing and repositioning with the goal of attracting additional tenants and tech and light industrial jobs.
The Northpointe Industrial Park, owned by Armstrong County Industrial Development Council, is over 800 acres but has 115 acres ready for development. It is located immediately adjacent to the Allegheny Valley Expressway and 19 miles from the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
RIDC’s efforts will include:
- Packaging real estate and re-introducing it to the market through RIDC’s regional network
- Installation of new leasing signage at the property
- Possible use of commercial brokerage services
- Revaluation of the development strategy based on market feedback
- Northpointe page on RIDC’s website
“Large projects like this one have been RIDC’s specialty. They need to be positioned, marketed and effectively developed to meet the needs of the companies that are driving economic growth in today’s marketplace,” said Donald F. Smith Jr., RIDC President. “We know how committed Armstrong County is to bringing businesses and jobs to the community and we share that vision.”
“RIDC has a long track record for catalyzing economic growth in the communities they partner with, especially in attracting tech and light industrial jobs,” said Don Myers, Chairman of the Armstrong County Board of Commissioners. “I have no doubt, that with their expertise and network on our side, we will stimulate growth at this site.”
“This is just the start of an in-depth partnership with Armstrong County,” said Timothy White, Senior Vice President of Development. “We hope to increase our support here, as a part of our strategy to widen and strengthen the scope of our regional economic development efforts.”
