New Kensington Advanced Manufacturing Park

RIDC | Westmoreland County IDC

Information

The New Kensington Advanced Manufacturing Park, once home to Alcoa’s earliest production and research facilities and a vital manufacturing hub, includes over 883,000 square feet of space suitable for heavy, light industrial, or tech flex users.

RIDC and the Westmoreland County Industrial Development Corporation (WCIDC), is transforming the entire site to create a modern, innovation-focused manufacturing operation positioned near a readily-skilled workforce, making it an ideal place for businesses to locate and expand.

Anchor tenant Re:Build Manufacturing has developed a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility within the park that spans five existing buildings revitalized in conjunction with the partners.

With excellent access to regional transportation, the nearly 70-acre park, located in a designated Opportunity Zone along the Allegheny River in the cities of New Kensington and Arnold, has 12 industrial buildings and is home to 11 companies that occupy more than 700,000 square feet, including major tenants Affival and FilterBuy.
