SOLAR COMPANY ENVINITY EXPANDS TO PITTSBURGH, SIGNING NEW LEASE IN RIDC KEYSTONE COMMONS

Turtle Creek, PA—October 28, 2021—Envinity, Inc., a solar renewable energy company, signed a three-year lease with Regional Industrial Development Corporation of Southwestern Pennsylvania (RIDC) for 3,807-square-feet of flex space in the West Shop, RIDC Keystone Commons, as a part of their expansion into Pittsburgh from their State College, PA-based headquarters.

Envinity specializes in residential, commercial, industrial solar system design, solar panel installation, operations, and maintenance with their in-house team of solar renewable energy specialists. The company intends to use the West Shop to store solar panels and other operational materials, as well provide office space for employees.

Move-in is expected sometime in Q4 of 2021.

“We are excited to expand our solar energy services to the Western PA marketplace,” said Jason Grottini, Envinity Vice President. “Envinity is one of the first solar installers in Pennsylvania, opening our doors in State College back in 2005. Our growing team of 52 employees operate every day with the core mission of doing our part to mitigate the impacts of global climate change by making homes and businesses more energy independent. We made Keystone Commons our Western PA home because we feel connected with the community and the historic former Westinghouse facility we’ll be working in.”

“The renewable energy and sustainability sector is growing, and so is Envinity within that field,” said Donald F. Smith, Jr., RIDC President. “We want to nurture that. The West Shop in Keystone Commons is a good scale up space, designed specifically for emerging companies looking to expand their operations. We look forward to seeing how Envinity grows their presence in Pittsburgh.”
