Last year, RIDC sold a 5.85-acre parcel in RIDC Park West to VOLLMER of America Corp. The German firm has now broken ground at the site for its new facility.
“The greater Pittsburgh area continues to be an attraction for global companies, and VOLLMER is an excellent example of a company that has evolved in sync with the region,” said Donald Smith, President of RIDC. “This site is perfectly situated and addresses VOLLMER’s most important business needs.”
