Re:Build Manufacturing’s new facility in New Kensington Advanced Manufacturing Park named a 2024 Project to Watch

Project to Watch 2024: New Kensington Re:Build Manufacturing facility

Other projects

The Regional Industrial Development Corp. is currently building a manufacturing facility for Re:Build Manufacturing at the New Kensington Advanced Manufacturing Park.

The new plant, located at 225 Schreiber Industrial Park in New Kensington, will comprise five existing buildings and will total about 175,000 square feet. RIDC partnered with the Westmoreland County Industrial Development Corp. to acquire the site last year, with plans to make it into a Class A manufacturing facility.

The first phase of the redevelopment project, consisting of renovating some small office/staff areas and mostly large manufacturing spaces, was just completed, and Re:Build has started manufacturing operations at the park.

There are still two more phases to go. The remaining phases consist of a main office area, which is 15,000 square feet, and another large manufacturing space that is approximately 55,000 square feet.

The New Kensington Advanced Manufacturing Park boasts close to one million square feet of usable space on the site with a dozen other buildings RIDC plans to work on.
