Change is in the air this spring at the RIDC Industrial Park. In addition to the Township installing a pedestrian path and the Port Authority re-establishing bus service to the park, RIDC is making improvements to its building at the corner of Gamma and Alpha Drives.
RIDC is replacing all the “storefronts” on the outside of the building along with replacing worn ADA concrete ramps and railing, in an effort to update the look of the structure that was originally built in 1963. Eight companies and over 80 employees work in the multi-tenant building, each with their own storefront entrance. The project will be completed in the middle of August 2015.
Earlier this year, RIDC completed an expansion for tenant Synergy Media working with Keith Andreyko’ s architectural firm, Integrity Design and contractor Moret Construction. RIDC is now working on an expansion for another tenant, NeuroKinetics. The work includes demolition, electrical, plumbing, new office build-out, new kitchen, bathroom, and conference room, and new floors. Canzian & Johnston is the architect and Moret Construction is the general contractor for the project and the space is planned to be completed in early July.
