Video: A Steel Mill Transformed
Check out this excellent video by Scalo Solar on RIDC’s Mill 19! In 2020, Scalo Solar installed 110,000 square feet of high-powered solar panels across the former steel mill’s roof. Seven new light poles with solar powered parking lot lights have been installed at RIDC Park West, three with single heads and four with double heads, producing a total of 1,980 watts of power.
