TO ACCOMMODATE GROWTH, RIDC MOVES OFFICES TO
NEW HOME AT 611 WILLIAM PENN

Regional Industrial Development Corporation of Southwestern Pennsylvania (RIDC) has relocated to new, expanded headquarters at 611 William Penn Place, Suite 600, Pittsburgh, PA 15219, formerly known as the Alcoa Building.

RIDC has signed a new eight-year lease with PMC Property Group for 12,841 square feet of open, collaborative work space. For the past seven years, it has occupied space in the K&L Gates Center on Sixth Avenue.

RIDC President Donald F. Smith, Jr. said: “Through projects like Mill 19 in Hazelwood Green, the Lawrenceville Technology Center on Robotics Row and many others, RIDC is becoming recognized as a national model for revitalizing old industrial properties and spurring economic development in communities around the region. From our expanded new headquarters, we will continue to serve Southwestern Pennsylvania by helping economy-driving companies grow and prosper.”

RIDC was represented in this transaction by Grant Street Associates.
