Government officials announced at RIDC Mill 19 proposed new legislation that will make it easier to test autonomous vehicles in Pittsburgh, keep related jobs here, and allow research efforts to align more closely with industry standards, which is integral if the region is to remain competitive in the global sector. Findings detailed in Forefront, a recent collaborative study on the state of the region’s autonomous technology cluster, were highlighted.
