Mill 19 is now located on the Hazelwood Green Site

At the Big Tent event in Hazelwood on October 13th, Pittsburgh city officials announced that the formerly-known Almono site has been renamed to “Hazelwood Green.” The name change is part of an effort to unite the former steel site with the Hazelwood community.

Work has already begun at RIDC’s Mill 19 building as the removal of the metal paneling began in early September and Phase 1 is scheduled for completion Spring 2019.
