Duquesne Light Buys Building at RIDC Industrial Center of McKeesport
Manor III building in RIDC Industrial Center of McKeesport
McKeesport, PA – October 3, 2024 – Regional Industrial Development Corporation of Southwestern Pennsylvania (RIDC) announced that it has sold the Manor III building on 241 Center Street in the Industrial Center of McKeesport to Duquesne Light.
Formally occupied by Trillium/Hiller, the Manor III building is approximately 12,500 square feet, comprising approximately 1.4 acres, and was purchased for $1,250,000.
“Duquesne Light’s commitment to McKeesport is an important sign of confidence in this Mon Valley location,” said Timothy White, RIDC Senior Vice President. “Building the economic base and attracting jobs and activity to this community should continue to be a priority for the region – as stakeholders like Duquesne Light, RIDC and local officials continue their work to revitalize the region.”
Duquesne Light has provided electric service to communities in southwestern Pennsylvania for more than 100 years.
