New Kensington, PA — December 14, 2023 — APA Trucking, LLC has extended its lease and expanded its space at the New Kensington Advanced Manufacturing Park, a joint venture between the Regional Industrial Development Corporation of Southwestern PA (RIDC) and Westmoreland County Industrial Development Corporation (WCIDC). The company, which has been a tenant at the park since 2018, will now occupy 110,000 square feet in two buildings, plus 66,000 square feet of an outdoor lot area for staging and storage.

APA Trucking is a family-owned company specializing in 3PL, truck and trailer repairs, equipment rentals and offering warehousing services to locally and nationally based businesses. The new extended lease will run through December 1, 2026.

“We are thankful for the opportunity to stay and expand our footprint at the New Kensington Advanced Manufacturing Park,” said Jim Petrovich, APA Trucking Owner. “We look forward to continuing our relationship with RIDC and WCIDC as well as being a part of the Park’s history and revitalization.”

“With Re:Build Manufacturing set to move into the first section of its renovated facility at this park early in 2024, APA Trucking’s decision is another vote of confidence in the future,” said Timothy White, RIDC Senior Vice President of Business Development and Strategy. “Along with WCIDC, we’re working hard to turn this long-neglected facility into a center of economic activity and jobs for the community.”

“The Westmoreland business climate is such that it not only attracts new enterprises like Re:Build to set up shop here, we also make it easy for the companies that call the county home to find quality space for expansion,” said Jason Rigone, WCIDC Executive Director. “Supporting business is in the DNA of Westmoreland County, and the continued revitalization of New Kensington Advanced Manufacturing Park is just one of the many ways in which we do that.”
