New Kensington Advanced Manufacturing Park, the former home of Alcoa’s earliest production and research facilities, includes 1.2 million square feet of space suitable for heavy, light industrial, or tech flex users. Once a vital manufacturing hub, the aim is for it to become that again.
RIDC, in partnership with Westmoreland County Industrial Development (WCIDC), is transforming the entire site to create a modern, innovation-focused manufacturing operation positioned near a ready skilled workforce, making it an ideal place for businesses to locate and expand.
Anchor tenant Re:Build Manufacturing is developing a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility within the park that will span five existing buildings being revitalized by RIDC.
With excellent access to regional transportation, the nearly 70-acre park, located in a designated Opportunity Zone along the Allegheny River in the cities of New Kensington and Arnold, has 18 industrial buildings and is home to 20 companies that occupy more than 600,000 square feet, including major tenants Affival and FilterBuy.
