RIDC is pleased to announce lots of recent progress in our parks in the Marshall Township/Cranberry Township area.

Innovation Ridge

In Innovation Ridge, Ryan Homes is in the middle of building "The Village at Marshall Ridge," a development of executive townhomes that feature a great location - just minutes from nearby amenities and workplaces, but in a serene natural setting.

RIDC is also working on stormwater ponds for the development and new entrance signs that will be powered by solar panels.

Innovation Ridge is an advanced technology and office park that will offer live-work-play amenities.  Land parcels are available for development and RIDC offers build-to-suit opportunities for companies looking to own or lease.

Thorn Hill Industrial Park

In nearby Thorn Hill Industrial Park, Elmhurst Development is starting construction on the second of two buildings called the "Commons at Thorn Hill." The project was a joint venture with RIDC.  The first building is leased, and the leasing of the second building is already underway.

In addition, RIDC announced the sale of a 21-acre parcel to the Forza Group to build a hotel on Brush Creek Road. The hotel will offer amenities to businesses in the park including meeting space and lodging. The hotel also plans to have recreational amenities such as an ice rink.

In the past year, RIDC has constructed approximately 3.6 acres of wetland and 1,300 linear feet of new stream channel in order to accommodate the ongoing development in the industrial park.  RIDC also supported Marshall Township in their construction of a recreational trail along the wetlands, providing trail users access to view the wetlands and wildlife.

Foundation work begins on the second Commons at Thorn Hill building.
